Every year Akiva Hebrew Day School hosts a themed annual auction. Seeing as this year would mark their 50th anniversary, it seemed fitting to make the theme “50.” I took that idea and created layouts of “50 things” each emphasizing activities children to young adults participate in during and after school.

BRANDING / PACKAGING
As a surprise for my dad, I created a brand symbolizing the products he has been making for friends and family from his many adventures in hunting. The logo symbolizes his mixture of venison and beef in his jerky and sausage. He grinds the meet himself, stuffs his own casing and then smokes his products for a truly homemade culmination of jerky and sausage that makes peoples comment “Damn, that’s good!”
An angular design was chosen to create upward motion and symbolize that Community Foundation is always growing and evolving. Different cuts and angles symbolize the unique and individual dreams of every person Community Foundation works with — embodying their creativity and impact. Intertwining and weaving colors represent how Community Foundation cultivates relationships in its involvement with the community, connecting people and resources.
Overlapping layers allow the reader to dig deeper as they go through the brand story — peeling back the layers to truly understand who Community Foundation is and what they do. The use of glimpses into images (as seen behind the section numbers) symbolizes how Community Foundation “is imaginative in how it approaches needs and opportunities”. It’s the hidden surprise and the most pleasantly unexpected element of the Community Foundation.
Logo comps created for the Wish List sales event which is a holiday event Lincoln hosts annually.

This app will demonstrate the various uses of the KitchenAid mixer attachments, such as the ice cream bowl, pasta maker, etc. in a very user-friendly, hands-on manner. It will also demonstrate a variety of ways the attachments can enrich the kitchen experience. The goal of this app is to show just how versatile the mixer can be and enhance awareness of the variety of attachments.
ILLUSTRATION / BRANDING
My elementary school took a big leap of going from the Country Oaks Sunshines to the Country Oaks Lions. I pitched to help rebrand their new identity through showing some possible merchandise options for kindergarten through 5th grade.
South by Southwest (SXSW) is a set of film, interactive, music festivals & conferences that take place early each year in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. These three comps were designed as options for Team Detroit's personal showroom and branding at this years event. Playing off of the phrase "We built the beehive, now where are the flowers?"
POSTER SERIES / TICKET DESIGN
Vintage, retro & whimsical are what viewers feel when they experience this campaign for Barnum & Bailey. What’s more fun than a character sporting a circus-act hairdo? Rather than the kids, this campaign is aimed at today’s parents and grandparents, the buyers of the tickets, to remember a time when simple pleasures included a night out with the family at the circus.
ADVERTISING / PACKAGE DESIGN
Aussie hair spray had made a name for itself with its appealing smell and bold purple can. The design was the inspiration of both of those aspects by creating a vision of its bestselling points. Aussie was in need of a different approach than the typical hair advertisements. I feel this will appeal to women as neither models faces are recognizable, making it easier for them to picture themselves with beautiful smelling hair.

Refurb is a refurbishing company that doesn’t just deal with ordinary furniture, but timeless, treasured, heirlooms or cool garage sale finds. Today’s furniture lacks the character of yesteryear; the unique styles of forgotten times when life wasn’t all about functionality. Refurb’s mission is to rejuvenate furniture to provide its owner with a breath of fresh air, the best of both worlds, the old and the new. They do this to not only help people save money but to re-use a timeless piece of furniture that was not only built well but maintains some sentimental value for the customer.
A monocle and top hat are not something our generation can relate to. It’s time for Planters to re-brand themselves with a fresh new look but at the same maintain their image of consistency in quality. The Planters of today is a sustainable company with highly natural products. The origin of a peanut is plant-based and this was my inspiration into a new look for Planters peanuts.
